Airports have the happiest and the saddest moments in them! Thankfully Sunday was a happy day! Some of my favorite clients were reuniting after a long separation! I don't normally take photos for homecomings, but when she asked I was so excited! I felt so lucky that they were arriving to the San Diego Airport and not on Naval Base San Diego! The lighting here in sunny California can be such a challenge! Lots of squinting and shadows can ruin an image quickly!

As a military wife I know the nervousness of seeing a spouse who you've been separated from for months and months...but kids don't share that! Isn't she just the sweetest!

Sometimes capturing a good photo means snapping when it seems like the big moment has passed already!

Ah, complete again! What a happy occasion! I'm so glad I was here to capture it for this lovely family!
